For the past couple of years (since July 2011 to be exact), I’ve spouted my praises of the Alesya bag – a handbag that secretly is a laptop bag which accommodates up to a 15″ laptop. My 13″ Macbook Pro has tons of room and is so easy to carry in this. I’ve slung around this gorgeous leather bag on every trip I’ve made, to countless coffee shops, and it’s my default bag for most everything. If I switch bags, I end up dumping everything back in my Alesya bag shortly thereafter because it’s just so easy to carry. Much of the time I’m not even carrying my laptop. It’s just a great handbag in general.

The first release introduced the colors Equestrian Tan (the one I have), Kelly Green, and Exquisite Eggplant. Last year, Alesya Bags introduced two hugely popular colors: Black by Popular Demand and Heavy Metal. They sold out as well, but are now back in stock in limited quantities. I wanted to snap one up as soon as they came out, but I was starting my business and it wasn’t a priority. I’ve been putting off buying one now because Alesya started teasing on her Facebook page and blog that brand new colors coming for fall – and none of them neutral.

Squee! I seriously can’t decide which one I want. I thought for sure I wanted a blue bag, but I really love the shades of pink and green as well. By the time this post goes up, hopefully I have made up my mind and snagged one of these before they sell out. There’s a wait list for notifications about these, so I don’t want to take any chances. I bought my tan one while sitting in the middle of a digital marketing conference in Louisville because I was afraid it would sell out (it did.)
